“It’s alive!”: Victor Frankenstein trailer is born

I wrote this article originally for helloU but unfortunately it got cut. Anyway, if you’ve got withdrawal symptoms from Harry Potter and love James McAvoy, combined with the classic tale of Frankenstein, you might enjoy the below. It’s short and snappy, living and breathing the digital platform’s style.

James McAvoy and Daniel Radcliffe to take on Mary Shelley’s literary classic can only mean one thing. Excitement.

The first trailer and poster for Victor Frankenstein have dropped, in a BIG way. McAvoy and Radcliffe unite to take on the adaptation along with a star studded cast including Sherlock’s Moriarty Andrew Scott and Downton Abbey’s Jessica Brown Findlay.

McAvoy will play radical scientist Victor Frankenstein whilst Radcliffe will be starring as protégé Igor Strausman. The pair push research into immortality to dangerously new boundaries to the brink of obsession and madness ending in a way we all know. Badly.

James and Daniel team up before the trailer to joint intro the film – looking much more like themselves. Lulling us mere mortals into a false sense of ease before the jumping and awe fixing scenes to follow.

The film is in cinemas in the US from 25th November but us Brits are to wait a little longer for a release date.
